This market research notice is being conducted by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 VHA Regional Procurement Office-West (RPOW) 5441 Babcock Road Medical Center. 302 San Antonio TX 78240 for the procurement for Portable Ultrasound System (Android application) Linear Array. 

Background and Requirement: VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Healthcare System (VATVCBHCS) requirement to procure ten Portable ultrasounds with carts and tablets for the following services: Pain, Medicine, Primary Care at Harlingen, Tx. Portable Ultrasounds will facilitate injections using Platelet Rich Plasma, Dry needling and evaluation of patient care. US will be used for guidance purposes only. 2. Portable Transducer (Ultrasound) Display information with depth to 30 cm (exam-specific), transducer Linear Array with field view of 34.5mm, exam type of superficial, soft tissue, and MSK. With color doppler imaging, live ultrasound streaming. Must be Handheld with B line Quantification. 2D mode, color doppler, Pulse wave doppler. Image optimization of sonoCT real time imaging, tissue harmonic imaging, Xres adaptive imaging processing, auto SCAN intelligent optimization. With a handheld portable storage bag. Weith of 108 g/3.8 oz, dimensions of 11.4 cm x 4.5 cm 4.5 in x 1.8 in (l x w).

Cart With Tablet Cart must be a lightweight cart and convenient to accommodate accessories and up to 2 transducers or gel bottles. With a supply caddy to hold wipes, disinfectants, or chargers. Must include a single tab extension cord. Must be ISO 9001:2015 certified. Cart must be able to mount tablet for stable viewing. Cart must be mobile on 4 wheels. Tablet display information to include transducer type and frequency range, active clinical option and optimize present display depth, grayscale, color map, color scale, frame rate, 2D gain, color gain, and color image.
