The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is conducting market research for the fabrication, modification, delivery, and assembly of two High-Cube ISO modular conditioned workspaces to expand ADCP mission capacity. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all capable sources - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) 40ft x 9.6ft High-Cube ISO containers, conjoined to create an 800 sq. ft. modular workspace - Fabrication, modification, painting (Light Beige, RAL 1015) - Installation of seven (7) vinyl dual-pane sliding windows with mesh screens - One (1) steel man-door (36" x 80", single-bore locking lever, left-hand outswing) - One (1) manual roll-up door (6' x 7'4", 26-gauge galvanized steel, white finish) - Insulation (R13-rated, moisture barrier), interior walls (5/8" drywall with FRP finish) - Epoxy flooring (two-part, medium gray) - Electrical package (125-Amp load center, three circuits, six receptacles, four 4-foot LED fixtures) - Two (2) HVAC units (8,000 BTU, 110V, 20A, each servicing 350 sq. ft.) - All necessary personnel, materials, supervision, and equipment for on-site assembly and testing - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Containers must be delivered and assembled at NSWCCD, Bethesda, MD (Bldg. 18, Northwest side parking lot) - All work includes travel, lodging, and per diem for contractor personnel - Modular units must be conjoined to form a single, conditioned workspace - High attention to finish quality (e.g., smooth window operation, proper latching, weather sealing, FRP wall finish) - Delivery of fully functioning lab required by specified completion date
Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) hereby issuing a Request for Information (RFI) from all potential sources to provide all necessary personnel, materials, supervision, and equipment to fabricate, modify, deliver, and assemble two (2) 40ft x 9.6ft High-Cube ISO containers. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this RFI notice. SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES: Respondents shall provide capability statements with specific information regarding their ability to provide the required support services to meet the NSWCCD requirements. NSWCCD will only accept unclassified, electronic submissions. Responses shall be submitted via email to lina.k.bazensky.civ@us.navy.mil by 10:00AM ET, 28 May 2026. Responses shall list N00167-26-SIMACQ-CD-86-0005 in the subject line. No phone calls shall be accepted. This notice is for market research purposes only and does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal. This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This notice is issued solely for conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 and gathering information for planning purposes. Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received, and the Government will not compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the response to this notice.
