City of Laredo El Metro Transit Center Building Maintenance and Facility Upgrades

Description

The City of Laredo is soliciting bids for the El Metro Transit Center Building Maintenance Project, which includes general maintenance, selective demolition of exterior masonry veneer, concrete flatwork, and replacement of HVAC air handler units, associated ductwork, chilled water lines, and control system wiring. The project also involves repairs to building masonry veneer, introduction of a new HVAC controls system, and a new public address system as per the plans and specifications prepared by Sepulveda Associates Architects, Inc. The construction contract time is 240 working days. Bidders must submit sealed bids either electronically or by hand delivery, accompanied by a bid deposit of at least 5% of the total base bid.
