Description
The FAA proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A330-841 and Model A330-941 airplanes due to reports of cracks on the sloping rib. The AD requires repetitive inspections of the external surface of each sloping rib and each slat 1 inboard seal, along with applicable corrective actions. This action aims to address the unsafe condition that could affect the handling qualities and controllability of the airplane. Comments on the proposed AD must be received by July 6, 2026.
