Description

The United States International Trade Commission has closed the countervailing duty investigation concerning steel concrete reinforcing bar from Algeria. The Department of Commerce had published an affirmative final countervailing duty determination, but the Office of the United States Trade Representative determined that Algeria is not a Subsidies Agreement country. Consequently, the Commission did not make a preliminary or final determination and has closed the investigation. This action is pursuant to section 701(c)(1) & (5) of the Tariff Act of 1930.
