Description
The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority is seeking proposals from experienced lake management service providers to assist in managing algae growth and control in its five surface water reservoirs. The selected firm(s) will analyze reservoir water quality data and provide recommendations for application and treatment to control harmful algae blooms. Expertise in ecosystem health, aquatic pesticides, their impact on ecosystems and community drinking water supplies, and VA Department of Environmental Quality permitting may also be required.
