Description
The City of Iqaluit is soliciting proposals for waste management services including operation and maintenance of a waste transfer station, operation and environmental management of landfills, and industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential waste collection and removal. The City operates the West 40 Landfill, which is nearing the end of its service life and must be closed, and has developed a new North 40 Landfill and waste transfer station. The contract term is anticipated to be five years with up to two optional five-year renewals. Proposals may cover all services or be limited to the waste transfer station and landfills only.
