Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Government Marketing & Procurement, LLC (GMP) for the provision of QGenda On Call Physician Scheduling Web Based Services with advanced scheduling automation for use at the Charleston VA Medical Center. This requirement will be procured sole source via GMP s GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract, as QGenda products and services are only available to federal agencies through GMP s FSS Schedule. QGenda has provided formal documentation confirming that GMP is their exclusive GSA authorized distributor for all QGenda products and services. Additionally, due to QGenda s existing partnership and proprietary integration with VOCERA, QGenda is the only scheduling system authorized to interoperate with the established communication infrastructure currently deployed at the Charleston VAMC. No alternative platform has been identified that meets this interoperability requirement. This procurement will be conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 8.405 6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the services are unique or highly specialized.
