Texas State Technical College (TSTC) in Waco is seeking proposals for turbine training engines and stands to support aviation powerplant instruction: - Government Buyer: - Texas State Technical College (TSTC), TSTC Aviation, Waco campus - Products Requested: - Six (6) non-running, non-airworthy turboprop training engines - Must be physically complete, representative of small-to-mid-size free-turbine turboprops - Delivered clean, de-fueled, decontaminated, and free of hazardous materials - Must include component ID placards, a parts manifest, and a brief instructional reference - All airworthiness tags must be removed or defaced to prevent return to service - Six (6) stationary engine stands compatible with the proposed engines - Additive alternate: Six (6) additional stationary engine stands (identical to base stands) - Warranty & Documentation: - Minimum one-year warranty for parts completeness and defect - Documentation required for instructional use - Notable Requirements: - Engines are for instructional use only and must not be airworthy - Preference for vendors with a history of supporting Texas higher education - Delivery is FOB Destination to TSTC Aviation, 100 Campus Drive, Waco, TX - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs named; open to any manufacturer or supplier meeting requirements

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) seeks to procure non-airworthy turbine training engines and stationary stands for instructional use in aviation powerplant labs at the Waco campus. The units will support lab instruction on hot-section inspections, disassembly/reassembly of engine components, and general familiarization. The procurement includes six non-running turboprop training engines and six stationary engine stands, with an additive alternate for six additional stands. The engines must be physically complete for instructional purposes, delivered clean and decontaminated, and include documentation and a one-year parts completeness/defect warranty.
