Description
Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Rome, Italy will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The solicitation covers the catering services for a large event to be held outdoors during the summer time for the U.S. Embassy in Rome, Italy. The Contractor shall furnish material, equipment, managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to perform all services as required in the contract. The estimated number of participants to this event is approximately 3,200. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type purchase order. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and site visit and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposal.
