The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is seeking qualified vendors for overhaul and renewal services of Welin Lambie TW.PIV 5.0B Dual Point Davits installed on 210’ and 270’ class cutters. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Procurement Branch 1 - OEM Highlight: - Welin Lambie (manufacturer of TW.PIV 5.0B Dual Point Davit) - Services Requested: - Inspection, testing, overhaul, and renewal of Welin Lambie TW.PIV 5.0B Dual Point Davits - Logistics support including storage, shipping, and return of government-furnished davits - Products/Equipment Provided by USCG: - Overhaul kits and A condition TW.PIV 5.0B davits for 210’A, 210’B, and 270 WMEC classes - Contract Structure: - Task orders for various quantities per year - One base year plus four option years - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must demonstrate relevant experience with similar davit systems - Ability to handle logistics for government-furnished equipment - Place of Performance: - SFLC Procurement Branch 1, 300 East Main St, Suite 950, Norfolk, VA (contracting office) - Work performed at various USCG cutter locations

Description

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line (MECPL) is seeking qualified sources to inspect, test, and overhaul or renew a Welin Lambie TW.PIV 5.0B Dual Point Davit onboard 210’ and 270’ class cutters at varying locations.

The SLFC intends to overhaul/renew various quantities of davits per year by issuing task orders and will provide overhaul kits, A condition TW.PIV 5.0B davits as Government Furnished Equipment/Property for the 210’A, 210’B and 270 WMEC for renewals or overhauls. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year and four (4) option years.

All responses must include:

• A positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for a solicitation for this requirement as a prime contractor

• Evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope (ie: contract numbers, dollar amounts, periods of performance)

• Confirm ability to store then ship a Government Furnished davit from Contractor facility to the designated place of performance, and to ship the removed davit to the Coast Guard Warehouse.
