Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United State in Cote D’Ivoire will launch the solicitation on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available.
The requirement is to provide health and life insurance services to the locally hired employees of the US Mission. The estimated number of employees is 298 with approximately 902 eligible dependents. Please note that these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsive sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)
