This requirement is for upgrading the network infrastructure serving Building 933 at Osan Air Base. The intent is to provide a complete, tested, labeled, and documented fiber and copper horizontal distribution system. The fiber solution begins at new fiber optic distribution panels (FODPs) with LC termination points and extends to end-user outlet locations with LC keystone-style connections installed in faceplates. The copper solution begins at new copper patch panels in the designated IT rooms and extends to end-user outlet locations with Category 6 (CAT6) RJ45 keystone connections installed in faceplates.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, tools, test equipment, pathway components, cabling, terminations, patch panels, keystones, faceplates, labeling, documentation, and incidentals required to install the new fiber optic and copper CAT6 infrastructure. The completed work shall support Government acceptance testing and turnover to USAF Communications Squadron staff and 7 AF/A6. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable DoD, USAF, and host nation policies within this SOW, ensuring compliance with security, safety, and communications infrastructure standards.
