The U.S. Army is seeking small business contractors to provide construction services for the installation of kitchenettes in building 2478 at Fort Bliss, Texas. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Riley Kansas - Directorate of Public Works, Engineering Services Division, Fort Bliss, Texas - Products and Services Requested: - Installation of kitchenettes, including: - Sinks with running hot and cold water - Upper and lower cabinets (wood, 12" and 24" deep) - Solid surface quartz countertops (1 inch thick) - 220V wiring for electric ranges - Stainless steel sinks, faucets, and garbage disposals - GFCI electrical outlets (including for water cooler and under sink) - New flush mounted 100A 120/208V 3 panelboard - Full voltage contactor (2-pole, 240V, 50A) - Kitchen hood with industrial grade ductwork and exterior exhaust - Ansul fire suppression systems with kitchen hood (3 units, multiple floors) - Water fountains with ADA-compliant bottle filling stations (3 units, multiple floors) - Construction services include all labor, materials, demolition, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, telecommunications, and quality control - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with ICC, UFC, NFPA 101, ABA, and all applicable codes and standards - Environmental, safety, and quality control standards, including asbestos and lead abatement - Key personnel required: Project Manager, Superintendent, Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), and Quality Control Manager (QCM) - Liquidated damages of $1,717.24 per day for delays - Small business set-aside under NAICS 236220 - Estimated contract value: $338,706 to $1,100,000 - 180-day period of performance after Notice to Proceed - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or product brands are mandated, but Ansul is specified for the fire suppression system - Place of Performance: - Building 2478, Fort Bliss, Texas (El Paso) - Contracting office at MICC Fort Riley, Kansas

Description

Install kitchenettes at building 2478 that will include a sink with running hot/cold water and upper and lower cabinets with countertops appropriate for food preparation. Install 220v wiring to support electric range and fire suppression system. The Contractor shall provide all work, labor, materials, related fees, and related services for construction requested herein until completion and acceptance of the entire work, except for any completed unit of work which may have been accepted under the contract, by the Government in a professional and collaborative environment to sustain mission requirements. Construction services and finished products shall be delivered on schedule, safely, and compliant with regulatory codes and standards.
