Description

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicits bids for the replacement of the existing Asphalt Shingle roof system with a new standing seam metal roof system at Building 6 of the Discovery Challenge Academy in Lathrop, California. The contractor is responsible for providing all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees necessary to complete the work in accordance with the IFB terms and conditions. A mandatory pre-bid job walk is scheduled for May 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the project site. The prime contractor must hold a C-39 Roofing Contractor and/or B General Building Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board. All questions must be submitted by June 2, 2026, and the bid opening will be held on June 9, 2026, at 2:15 PM.
