Sole Source Annual Preventative Maintenance for MSA and HVAC Equipment at Stennis Space Center

This opportunity involves a sole source contract for annual preventative maintenance of MSA and HVAC equipment at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, managed by the Naval Research Laboratory. - The contract will be awarded to Chillco, Inc. as the only responsible source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13.106-1(b)), with a value not exceeding $350,000. - Services include comprehensive annual maintenance for 4 Liebert CRUs, ductless mini-splits, Heat Craft units, Friedrich and Roughneck units, RTUs, and AHUs. - Tasks cover blower belt, filter, and humidifier lamp replacements, coil cleaning, operational inspections, condensate line checks, and hood vent performance checks. - 10 Merv 8 filters (20x24x4, NSN 7540-01-152-8067) are required for biannual replacement and cleaning. - Custom OEM inspection checklists must be used for each unit. - The NAICS code is 333415 (size standard 1250), and the PSC is H341. - The place of performance is Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, with the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC as the contracting office. - Interested parties may submit capability statements, but only those with clear and convincing evidence of competitive advantage will be considered.

Description

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $350,000 to Chillco, Inc.   The contractor will be required to provide Annual Preventative Maintenance.  (See Attached Inquiry of Availability).

This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.  This is NOT a solicitation or request for offers.  No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored.  Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. 

The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 333415 with the size standard of 1250.   The Federal Supply Code (FSC) / Product Service Code (PSC) procurement is H341.

Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement within 7 calendar days of the publication of this notice.  Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.   Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
