Marathon County, in conjunction with the city of Wausau, is seeking redevelopment proposals for the former site of the Wausau campus of University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point at Wausau (UWSP-Wausau), located at 518 S 7th Avenue in Wausau, WI. The County will review developer proposals prioritizing job creation potential, impact on workforce housing, market demand, and economic and financial benefit to the County. Proposals may address rehabilitation, demolition, and new construction for the entire campus or specific buildings, but not partial occupancy of buildings. The County reserves the right to select the proposal in the best interest of the County and may consider long-term lease arrangements.
