The State of Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF), State Equipment Fleet, is seeking bids for three Mechanic Truck Bodies to be installed on 2027 Ford Crew Cab chassis for statewide use. - Government Buyer: - State of Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF), State Equipment Fleet - Products/Services Requested: - Three (3) Mechanic Truck Bodies - To be installed on 2027 Ford Crew Cab, 19,000 lb GVWR chassis with gas engine and 84-inch CA - Each body must include: - Hydraulic crane (minimum 5,000 lbs capacity, 360-degree rotation, 21-foot reach) - Compressor (minimum 40 CFM @ 100 psi, 100% duty cycle) - LED lighting, heavy duty running boards, and detailed compartment specifications - Pre-delivery service and inspection required (all fluids filled to manufacturer specs, ready for immediate use) - Comprehensive build sheets and parts/service documentation required upon delivery (make, model, serial number, maintenance requirements) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Delivery required within 280 days after order, FOB Anchorage, Alaska - 12-month full parts and labor warranty from in-service date - Warranty service must be available at minimum in Anchorage and Fairbanks - Contract allows cooperative purchasing by the Municipality of Anchorage and other Alaska political subdivisions - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Strict acceptance and warranty procedures apply
