Description

The Houston Independent School District (HISD) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for Medical Plan, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) / Claims Payor Services. The project term is tentatively from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, with four automatic annual renewals not to extend beyond June 30, 2032. Vendors must respond to this RFP to become an HISD Approved Vendor and comply with insurance and Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) requirements. A virtual pre-proposal conference will be held on April 22, 2026, and questions must be submitted by May 12, 2026.
