Tarrant County Facilities Management is seeking proposals for a major upgrade of jail security electronics across three correctional facilities in Fort Worth, TX. - Government Buyer: - Tarrant County Facilities Management - Facilities: Green Bay Facility, Lon Evans Corrections Center, Tarrant County Corrections Center - OEMs and Vendors Highlighted: - Emerson (formerly GE FANUC) – RX3i PLCs, IC695CPE310 CPUs - Omron – CJ series PLCs (existing, to be replaced) - Bosch – BVMS video management system, PoE cameras, 670 series DVRs - Aveva (Wonderware) – InTouch HMI software - Folger Adams – Model 700 electric strikes - Harding – DXL Intercom System - Products and Solutions Requested: - Replacement and upgrade of PLCs, CPUs, and control stations (including touch screen PCs with Windows 11 and Aveva InTouch HMI) - Installation of new IP-based video surveillance systems (Bosch BVMS, PoE cameras, network video recorders) - Upgrades to intercom and paging systems (Harding DXL, IP TMM master stations) - Network infrastructure improvements (fiber optic backbone, CAT6 cabling, rack-mounted UPOE+/POE+ switches) - Power distribution upgrades (floor-mounted UPS, bypass switches, TVSS devices) - Equipment room enhancements (racks, cable management, grounding, ventilation) - Integration software, programming, and documentation - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Phased installation to minimize operational downtime - Integration with existing infrastructure and systems - Training for county personnel (including 24 hours for HMI programming) - Compliance with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates - Performance and payment bonds required for contracts above thresholds - 2-year warranty with rapid emergency response and on-site repair - All hardware/software must be latest available at implementation - Contractor responsible for programming, integration, and full system commissioning - Estimated Contract Value: - $8,500,000 to $9,250,000 - Period of Performance: - 18 months from Notice to Proceed, with phased work and completion per contract terms - Place of Performance: - Green Bay Facility (2500 Urban Drive, Fort Worth, TX) - Tarrant County Corrections Center (100 North Lamar Street, Fort Worth, TX) - Tarrant County Jail / Lon Evans Corrections Center (600 W.
