Description
The Government of Canada, through Health Canada, is seeking information from potential suppliers regarding the collection of food samples for the Canadian Total Diet Study (TDS), which monitors chemical contaminants in foods consumed by Canadians. The project involves purchasing food samples from grocery stores, fast food outlets, takeout restaurants, and specialty food establishments in Calgary, Alberta, in autumn 2026. The contractor will package and ship 648 grocery items, 32 fast food items, 28 restaurant takeout items, and 17 specialty store items to Ottawa, following specific packaging and shipping requirements for non-perishable, refrigerated, and frozen items.
