The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is offering approximately $12,050,000 in cooperative agreement funding for fiscal year 2026 to control and prevent Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) in farmed and wild cervids. Funding is divided among wild cervid activities ($5,500,000), wild cervid activities for Tribal Nations ($500,000), and farmed cervid activities ($6,050,000).
