The City of Laredo Engineering Department is seeking bids for the Clark Boulevard Site Improvements project at the southwest corner of Clark Boulevard and Tilden Avenue in Laredo, Texas. - Government Buyer: - City of Laredo Engineering Department, Purchasing Division - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or branded vendors are named; all work is to be performed per City of Laredo standards and specifications - Products/Services Requested: - Construction of approximately 158 linear feet of Type "A" curb and gutter with asphaltic pavement transition - Installation of 672 square feet of reinforced concrete sidewalk - Subgrade preparation (135 sq ft), excavation (13 cubic yards), embankment (13 cubic yards) - Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete paving (237 sq ft) - Traffic control, site grading, stormwater pollution prevention, demolition, and cleanup - Environmental controls: reinforced silt fence (190 linear feet), curb inlet protection (2 units), concrete washout pit, trash and debris containment - Removal and legal disposal of existing concrete (680 sq ft) and curb/gutter (158 linear feet) - Contingency allowance for unforeseen conditions - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with City of Laredo construction standards and environmental regulations - Minimum two-year warranty on labor and construction - Firm pricing for 60 days; project completion required within a minimum of 30 working days after notice to proceed - All bids must be submitted electronically or hand-delivered; no mailed, telegraphic, or facsimile proposals accepted - Estimated contract value is less than $75,000

The City of Laredo is soliciting informal bids for the construction of approximately 158 linear feet of curb and gutter type "A" with asphaltic pavement transition along with 672 square feet of reinforced concrete sidewalk. The project site is located at the Southwest corner of Clark Boulevard & Tilden Avenue, next to Variety Meat Market. Bids must be submitted by May 29, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read at 3:00 PM on that day. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor irregularities.
