The Hawai‘i Tourism Authority (HTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide a Visitor Assistance Program (VAP) on Hawai‘i Island. The program aims to assist visitors in crisis, including those victimized by crime or other adversities, by offering services such as medical support, law enforcement coordination, airline assistance, help with obtaining identification, visitor information, education, emotional support, and prevention efforts related to health and safety. The successful offeror will develop, promote, and conduct this scalable and responsive program to enhance visitor safety and support.
