The Little Rock School District is seeking qualified providers for on-site American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as to facilitate communication during school events and parent-teacher conferences. - Government Buyer: - Little Rock School District, Procurement Department - Director of Special Programs involved in service coordination - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or named vendors are specified in the solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - On-site ASL interpretation for individual students, group settings, workshops, and conferences - Emergency or day-of interpretation services available on short notice - Services required during regular school hours (8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.) and for after-hours or emergency assignments - Providers must have at least three years of experience and demonstrate proficiency in ASL - Assignments may be single or district-wide, with specific scheduling and cancellation policies - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Providers must submit company profiles, references, insurance certificates, and background checks - Must be able to respond to emergency requests within 60 minutes - All assignment reports and interpretation materials remain the property of the district - Confidentiality is required for all services - No travel reimbursement; firm hourly and emergency rates required - Award may be made to one or multiple providers based on responsiveness and responsibility
