This opportunity seeks a contractor to engineer, furnish, install, and test (EFI&T) premise wiring for Building 549 at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, supporting the NIPRNet network infrastructure. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 325th Civil Engineer Squadron (325CS), with contracting managed by the 325th Contracting Squadron (325 CONS PKP) at Tyndall AFB - Contracting office support from 38ES/ENIU at Tinker AFB - Products and Services Requested: - Engineering, furnishing, installation, and testing of premise wiring infrastructure - Installation of new network cabinets, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), patch panels, network switches, and fiber optic cable panels in communication rooms - Provision and installation of Cat 6 cabling (plenum rated, blue sheath) and blue Cat 6 UTP RJ45 patch cords - Project management, quality assurance, weekly reporting, and on-site management - Testing, certification, labeling, and restoration of all installed wiring - One-year warranty on all work - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All materials, labor, and management must be provided by the contractor - Compliance with industry standards for cabling and installation - Coordination with 325CS and adherence to environmental and security requirements - Work to be performed during normal operating hours, with after-hours work coordinated as needed - SBA set-aside opportunity - No specific OEMs, vendors, part numbers, or product quantities are specified in the available documentation - All technical and scope details are contained in the Statement of Objectives (SOO B549.pdf)
