Description
The Veterans Integrated Service Network #04 (VISN 4) Contracting Office / Wilmington Veteran Administration Medical Center intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for Construction Services related to the 4th Floor Heating Loop Fitting Replacement project at the Wilmington VAMC, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805. All construction must be in compliance with applicable codes, VA policy/standards, and the terms of this contract. The contractor shall provide all tools, travel, trades, labor, materials, permits, licenses, and supervision for the heating loop fitting replacement project as specified in the statement of work. Period of Performance: 60 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bid Bond and Payment Bond. Payment bond required if bid exceeds $35,000. Performance bond required if bid exceeds $150,000. Bid bond is required if performance bond is required. The solicitation will be available at Contracting Opportunities on SAM.gov. Amendments will also be posted there. All parties must obtain solicitation documents and amendments through the website. Hard copies will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to frequently check the website for all notices, amendments, etc. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not received by the Contractor. This solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 14. This project is being solicited as a TOTAL 100% SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SDVOSB). NAICS Code: 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) Small Business Size Standard: $19 million in average annual receipts (or current applicable standard) Magnitude of Construction: $25,000 $100,000 A pre-bid meeting/site visit will be held (exact date/time/location will be in the solicitation).
