This opportunity seeks contractors to provide comprehensive relocation support services for the Sterile Processing Services (SPS) and Supply Chain Services (SCS) renovation project at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. - The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) is conducting market research for a future procurement. - Services required include: - Project management and coordination for activation and deactivation of SPS/SCS areas - Development and execution of a detailed move plan for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) - Relocation of FF&E to modular buildings (swing space) and existing spaces - Disassembly, removal, and disposal of old equipment and furniture - Installation of seismic straps, punch list management, and site cleanup - Key personnel must include experienced program managers, project managers, team leaders, and installers/movers - Contractors must demonstrate relevant experience, provide capability statements, and complete a pricing worksheet - At least 50% of personnel costs must be for the contractor’s own employees, per FAR 52.219-14 and FAR 52.219-27 - The period of performance is expected to run from July 1, 2026, to as late as December 31, 2026, with specific tasks scheduled within this window - No specific OEMs or products are named; the focus is on service delivery - The place of performance is the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, including the main campus and hospital basement - This is a sources sought notice, not a solicitation for bids or proposals

No Solicitation is currently available. All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 484210 Used Household and Office Goods Moving, and the small business size standard is $34.0 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is soliciting information for contractors providing relocation support services in accordance with the Statement of Work for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS). A description of services is in the attached Performance Work Statement (DRAFT). Brief Description of Services See attached Performance Work Statement (DRAFT). As this is a service acquisition, the Small Business Administration and the Federal Acquisition Regulation have a Limitations on Subcontracting requirement. For all small businesses, to include SDVOSB and VOSB, At least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern.
