USP Canaan FY26 Q4 Subsistence Supplies Solicitation

USP Canaan is seeking a wide range of subsistence supplies for the 4th quarter of FY26 to support inmate meal service: - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary Canaan - Products Requested: - Extensive list of food and food service items, including: - Kosher and halal certified meals (e.g., chicken, beef, turkey, omelets, beans & franks, spaghetti & meatballs) - Bulk and individually packaged meats (beef, chicken, turkey, fish) - Dairy products (cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan cheese, margarine, eggs) - Canned and dry beans, vegetables, fruits, and sauces - Spices, seasonings, and condiments (e.g., black pepper, chili powder, mayonnaise, hot sauce) - Baked goods and breakfast items (biscuits, pastries, pancakes, French toast) - Pasta, rice, flour, sugar, and other staples - Disposable food service items (scrubber pads, steel sponges, heavy duty wipers) - Bottled water and beverage mixes - Quantities range from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of units per item - All kosher and halal items must be properly certified and labeled - Strict packaging, ingredient, and quality requirements for all products - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated; products must meet federal and religious certification standards - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Kosher and halal certification required for relevant items, with visible certification marks - Delivery must be completed by the end of April 2026, during specified weekday hours - All items must comply with detailed ingredient, packaging, and quality specifications - Place of Performance/Delivery: - United States Penitentiary Canaan, Waymart, Pennsylvania
