The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking to upgrade its gear inspection capabilities at the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) with new Gleason GMS300 gear tester software and associated training. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Land and Maritime Engineering & Technical Support Directorate, Product Test Center Division, Mechanical Lab - OEM Highlight: - Gleason is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all software modules and training - Products Requested: - Multiple Gleason software modules for gear inspection and nominal data generation, including: - GAMA-SPIRAL BEVEL Software (P/N: 66006-A20) - GAMA-STRAIGHT BEVEL GEAR Software (P/N: 66013-A20) - GAMA-SBG-NOMINAL GENERATION Software (P/N: 1317170) - HTB Operating System License (P/N: 41763-A11) - GAMA-STB-NOMINAL GENERATION NEW Software (P/N: 1789484) - Remote installation session (P/N: 1262714) - Each software module is requested in a quantity of 1 - Services Requested: - Three days of on-site software training for DSCC staff, including travel and lodging (P/N: 1262715) - Remote installation support - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All software and training must be compatible with the existing 300GMS Gear Metrology System - Training must be delivered on-site at the DSCC Mechanical Lab - Delivery and installation coordination required with the Product Test Center Division - Place of Performance: - Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), Product Test Center Division, Mechanical Lab, 3990 East Broad Street, Whitehall/Columbus, OH, including Building 9, Section 1, Room 009-1-109

Description

The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notification for the intended acquisition of Gleason GMS300 gear tester software and training.

The software and training is for one (1) 300GMS Gear Metrology System Software Upgrade used at the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), DLA Land and Maritime, Product Test Center Division, Mechanical Lab, Columbus, Ohio.

NOTE: This is only a notification.  A formal solicitation is expected June 2, 2026.
