This opportunity seeks contractors to provide maintenance and support services for drinking water systems for the Defense Health Agency and U.S. Army Public Health Center. - Government Buyer: - Defense Health Agency, Medical R&D Contracting Division 2 (Fort Detrick, MD) - U.S. Army Public Health Center, Defense Centers for Public Health Aberdeen (DCPH-A) - Scope of Work: - Non-personal services for analysis of drinking water samples at military bases and deployment locations - Testing for organic, inorganic, and biological contaminants (including asbestos, metals, pesticides, PFAS, and microbiological agents) - Contractor must provide all laboratory equipment, personnel, and facilities - Estimated annual volume: 2,000 to 10,000 analyses - Turnaround times: Standard (15 days), High (8 days), Top (5 days), Urgent (3 days) - Must be ISO 17025 and DoD ELAP accredited - Key deliverables: analytical reports, electronic data deliverables, and status reports - Key personnel: Program Manager and Quality Manager with specific accreditation and experience - Notable Requirements: - Ability to support both routine and emergency (deployment/disaster) locations - Full compliance with quality assurance/control standards and chain-of-custody procedures - Project management, reporting, and attendance at required meetings - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments.

Description

As part of the DCPH-A mission, the Lab Sciences Directorate (LS) performs sample analyses of drinking water matrix in operating environments and military bases to ensure the safety and security of all who work there. The LS currently analyzes water samples for organic, inorganic, and biological organisms in support of the DCPH-A mission, however the LS does not currently have the analytical capacity to perform all required sampling analyses to include analyses on deployment locations and in natural or man-made disaster locations.
