The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) seeks a nonprofit organization to complete projects that protect or propagate migratory game birds and/or acquire, develop, restore, maintain, or preserve wetlands outside of the United States. The funding comes from a migratory game bird fee established in 1972, with 15% of the available revenue (approximately $35,000 for Fiscal Year 2026) designated for projects outside the U.S. The contract must be executed by June 30, 2026, and all project work completed by June 30, 2027. No additional funding beyond this amount is available.
