Foothills County, Alberta, is seeking professional engagement and consultation services to support the review and update of its Municipal Development Plan (MDP): - Government Buyer: - Foothills County, Alberta - Scope of Work: - Facilitate inclusive engagement with Council, administration, residents, landowners, Indigenous communities, and other stakeholders - Support the statutory review and update of the Municipal Development Plan under the Municipal Government Act - Proposals may address either a comprehensive engagement program or a specialized scope of work - The County may award the contract as a single comprehensive scope or split into multiple specialized scopes - Notable Requirements: - Consultants must obtain and maintain Commercial General Liability insurance, Professional Liability insurance, and Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) coverage prior to starting services - No OEMs or product vendors are specified, as this is a service-based procurement

Description

Foothills County invites proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional engagement and consultation services for the review and update of its Municipal Development Plan (MDP). The MDP is a statutory document guiding long-term growth, land use, infrastructure coordination, and community development. The selected consultant(s) will support inclusive engagement with Council, administration, residents, landowners, Indigenous communities, and other interested parties throughout the MDP review process. Proposals may cover a comprehensive engagement program or a specialized scope, with the County reserving the right to award services accordingly.
