The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District, is seeking a cooperative agreement with a Missouri state agency or political subdivision to manage undesirable, noxious, and invasive plants on federal lands associated with the Missouri River Mitigation Project. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District - Scope of Services: - Integrated Vegetation Management (IVM) services for federal lands and waters in Atchison, Holt, Andrew, Boone, Callaway, and St. Louis counties, Missouri - Activities include interagency coordination, annual management planning, surveying and mapping of target species, implementation of treatment methods (manual, mechanical, cultural, biological, and chemical/herbicide application), and detailed performance and financial reporting - Compliance with federal and state laws regarding noxious and invasive plant management - Coordination with multiple stakeholders and landowners - Eligibility & Funding: - Only Missouri state agencies or political subdivisions responsible for undesirable plant laws are eligible - Total available funding is up to $1,250,000 - No cost sharing required - Period of Performance: - One-year base period with four one-year option periods (up to five years total) - Notable Requirements: - Regular reporting on pesticide use and management activities - Ability to respond to additional service requests if funding is available - No specific OEMs, vendors, or proprietary products are named, as the opportunity is limited to eligible government entities

Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District intends to enter into a cooperative agreement with a state agency responsible for the administration or implementation of undesirable plants laws of the state. The selected agency will provide professional services to assist USACE with the management of undesirable plants on federal lands managed by NWK associated with the Missouri River Bank Stabilization and Navigation, Fish & Wildlife Mitigation Project in Atchison, Holt, Andrew, Boone, Callaway, and St. Louis County, Missouri. The cooperative agreement will be awarded pursuant to 7 U.S.C. § 2814 Federal Noxious Weed Act of 1974. The recipient must be a state department of agriculture or other state agency or political subdivision thereof responsible for the administration or implementation of undesirable plants laws of a state.
