Description
The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) is requesting proposals to establish a master agreement for the initial purchase of two aviation-grade panoramic night vision goggles and the annual, as-needed maintenance, repair, certification, and replacement of aviation grade night vision goggles. OCFA currently uses 15 goggles of various types, all FAA Technical Standard Order (TSO) C164a certified. The solicitation aims to purchase panoramic NVGs for pilots to provide an increased field of view for improved discernment of relative motion at night, enhancing safety during night hoist rescue operations.
