Description
The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to cut and/or chemically treat invasive buckthorn using herbicide hand mechanical cutting on approximately 158.9 acres within Valley WMA in Marshall County and Higinbotham WMA in Pennington County, Minnesota. The work consists of two years of treatment: an initial treatment in year one and a follow-up treatment in year two for re-sprouts and any mature plants missed or survived during the initial treatment. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Swift Portal, and the award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting specifications and terms. Unit prices must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, and taxes.
