Description
The solicitation is for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items necessary to perform a subaqueous horizontal directional drill pipe crossing of the Halifax River and a horizontal directional drill pipe installation along Beach Street from Tomoka Avenue to Lincoln Avenue. The project includes installation of approximately 4,695 linear feet of 18-inch HDPE force main, 4,515 linear feet of 18-inch HDPE reclaimed water main, 1,280 linear feet of 16-inch PVC force main, 1,075 linear feet of 16-inch reclaimed water main, and 3,500 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE IT conduit strapped to the 18-inch HDPE reclaimed water main. Additional work includes installation of gate valves, air release valves/vaults, pavement replacement, sodding, restoration, and appurtenances as specified in the project manual and drawings. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for May 27, 2026, and the deadline for submitting questions is June 9, 2026.
