The City of Coachella Public Works Department is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive storm drain system maintenance services for its Landscape & Lighting Maintenance Districts (LLMDs). - Government Buyer: - City of Coachella Public Works Department, Construction Manager: Leonard R. St. Sauver - Scope of Services: - Quarterly inspections and maintenance summary reports for storm drain systems - Site inspections with detailed reporting - Maintenance and cleaning quotes upon City request - Post-maintenance/cleaning reports with site documentation - Vacuum extraction of catch basins, drywells, headwalls, landings, aprons, inlet drains, culverts, and other structures - High-pressure water jetting of stormwater infrastructure - Removal and clearing of obstructions at outlets, including the White Water Channel - Hauling and legal disposal of waste materials and debris - Products/Services Requested: - No specific OEMs or equipment brands are mandated; services focus on labor, inspection, and maintenance using industry-standard equipment - All work must comply with California prevailing wage laws and require active DIR registration - Contractors must hold a valid California contractor's license and maintain DIR registration throughout the contract - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with all California labor code provisions, including posting prevailing wage rates at each job site - Submission of three copies of the proposal - Contract duration is three years, with two optional one-year extensions (up to five years total) - Place of Performance: - Various storm drain locations throughout the City of Coachella, including streets, parks, developments, housing tracts, facilities, and the White Water River Channel

Description

The City of Coachella is requesting proposals for storm drain system maintenance services for the Landscape & Lighting Maintenance Districts (LLMD’s). The scope includes vacuum extraction and cleaning of catch basins, drywells, headwalls, landings, aprons, inlet drains, and culverts, as well as high-pressure water jetting. The contract award is subject to available budget and compliance with California labor laws, including prevailing wages and contractor registration requirements.
