Description
The FAA is revising a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) that would have applied to certain Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. Model PC-12 airplanes by changing the applicability to Model PC12/47E airplanes. This airworthiness directive (AD) addresses an unsafe condition where the emergency exit door could be blocked from opening due to incorrect installation of the passenger service unit (PSU) trim panel. The FAA proposes inspections and modifications to prevent this condition, which could result in injury during an emergency evacuation. Comments on this supplemental NPRM are requested by June 29, 2026.
