Description
This final rule and technical amendment by the Department of Labor removes the vacated 2024 rule revising regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) that implemented exemptions from minimum wage and overtime pay requirements for executive, administrative, professional, outside sales, and computer employees. The amendment restores the regulatory text to its state prior to the 2024 rule's effective date. The 2024 rule had increased salary and compensation thresholds but was vacated by federal courts. This action is effective May 15, 2026.
