The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) is seeking Expressions of Interest from commercial property owners, landlords, and real estate representatives to provide suitable lease space or space available for purchase for Temporary Winter Shelter (TWS) and Extreme Weather Response (EWR) services. The facility should support 24 to 30 TWS spaces and up to 20 additional EWR spaces for the 2026/27 winter season. The anticipated lease term is from October 24, 2026, to May 7, 2027. The purpose is to identify suitable properties and establish a shortlist for further discussion and potential agreement.
