USDA Forest Service Road Maintenance Services IDIQ for Ozark-St. Francis National Forests

The USDA Forest Service is seeking contractors for a multi-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide comprehensive road maintenance services across the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service - Ozark-St. Francis National Forests, Contracting Office: USDA-FS CSA EAST 2 - Scope of Services: - Roadside brushing and overhead trimming - Grading of aggregate surfaced roads and spot surface repair - Ditch cleaning, reshaping, and reconditioning (including lead-off and wing ditches) - Culvert cleaning (for culverts up to 30 inches and squash pipes up to 28 inches) - Secondary road maintenance (routine blading, drainage, debris removal) - Aggregate placement (supply, haul, and spread of crushed surface aggregate per Arkansas Highway Specification AR7 or SB-2) - Coverage Area: - Multiple ranger districts: Mt. Magazine, Boston Mountain, Pleasant Hill, Big Piney-Deer, Big Piney-Hector, Sylamore, and St. Francis - Work performed throughout the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests - Contract Structure & Requirements: - Multi-award IDIQ with a base year and four one-year option periods (up to five years total) - Minimum guarantee of $2,000 per awarded contract - Contractors must bid on entire zones within ranger districts; roadside brushing and trimming awarded forest-wide - Small business set-aside under NAICS 237310 - Bidders must provide technical approach, equipment details, and pricing - Notable Requirements: - Use of equipment such as dozers, graders, chainsaws, and mechanized hand tools - Maintenance of roadbed profiles, drainage, and vegetation clearance - No berms to remain on roadsides after work - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Materials: - Crushed surface aggregate (SB-2 or AR7) - Place of Performance: - All work to be performed within the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests and its ranger districts in Arkansas
