Description

Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity is seeking sources to provide non-personal services necessary to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for the Drager Perseus A500 anesthesia breathing machines located at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, 100 Brewster Blvd, NH100, Camp Lejeune, NC, 28547. The Government is seeking sources that can meet all of the following requirements:

Services must ONLY be performed by Dräger trained technicians, who have evidence of current factory training on the specific device being serviced (Dräger Ventilation, Anesthesia, Monitor, or Neonatal device). Must provide evidence of equipment standards and traceability and final device performance testing that follows and complies with all manufacturer’s procedural requirements. Must guarantee that safety inspections performed will comply with all applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements, manufacturer standards, and meet FDA alerts and recall requirements. Each technician must be certified on the applicable Dräger (Ventilation, Anesthesia, Monitor, or Neonatal) device prior to performing any service and/or maintenance on Dräger manufactured equipment.

If capable sources are not identified through this notice, the contracting activity will award this sole-source requirement to Drager under the authority of RFO FAR 6.103-1.

This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.  Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to specify the required capabilities or performance characteristics of the supplies or the performance standards of the services being acquired and state how they are related to the need. Capability statements shall not exceed 3 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point.  All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government.  A request for documentation or additional information will not be considered as an affirmative response.  A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with the sole source contracts.
