The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) is seeking expressions of interest from commercial property owners, landlords, and real estate representatives to provide suitable lease space for Temporary Winter Shelter (TWS) and Extreme Weather Response (EWR) services in the Cowichan Valley for the 2026/27 winter season. The lease term is from October 24, 2026, to May 7, 2027, and space available for purchase may also be considered. The facility should support 24 to 30 TWS spaces and up to 20 EWR spaces. The purpose of this EOI is to identify suitable properties and establish a shortlist for further discussion.
