Tinker AFB Building 3001 Pratt & Whitney Area Renovation – Construction and Systems Upgrades

The U.S. Air Force at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is seeking qualified contractors to perform a comprehensive renovation of the Pratt & Whitney Area in Building 3001, primarily due to flood damage. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), 72nd Air Base Wing (72 ABW), Civil Engineer Directorate, Engineering Support (FA8137 AFSC PZIOC) - Scope of Work: - Complete interior renovation of the 2nd floor and select first floor areas in Building 3001, including architectural demolition, structural repairs, mechanical and electrical system upgrades, and fire protection improvements - Design/engineering services, materials, labor, quality control, and project management required - Compliance with UFC codes, Tinker AFB standards, and strict safety, environmental, and quality control requirements - Key personnel required: Project Manager, Design Project Manager, Quality Control Manager, Site Safety Officer, Superintendent - Products and Equipment Referenced: - Construction materials: fire-rated gypsum wallboard, mineral wool insulation, acoustical ceiling tiles (Armstrong CALLA PrivAssure), carpet tile, rubber base and floor tile (Roppe), fire-rated and solid core doors, structural steel, and concrete - Mechanical/electrical: HVAC components (ductwork, diffusers, controls tied to Honeywell DDC), new FCI E-3 fire alarm control panel, wet pipe sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting - Equipment for installation/protection: dabber welders (Hobart), dust collectors (Donaldson), hydraulic ropers, fume collectors, jib cranes (Gardner Denver), spot FPI (Milwaukee), parts washer (Better Engineering), MBRAUN USA, Cooper Heat, Syncrowave, Local Console Heat Treat - Casework: coffee bar with Corian Platinum solid surface countertop - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Only MAC BOA holders at Tinker AFB are eligible to respond - Mandatory attendance at an initial site visit for proposal eligibility - Project is set aside for small businesses and will be awarded using Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures - No Government Furnished Property or O&M manuals provided - All work must be completed within 329 calendar days after notice to proceed - Estimated Contract Value: - Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 - OEMs and Vendors Referenced: - Armstrong (ceiling tiles), Roppe (rubber base/floor tile), Hobart (welders), Donaldson (dust/fume collectors), Gardner Denver (jib crane), Milwaukee (spot FPI), Better Engineering (parts washer), MBRAUN USA, Cooper Heat, Honeywell (DDC controls), FCI (fire alarm panel), Sherwin Williams (paint), Corian (countertop) - Place of Performance: - Tinker Air Force Base, Building 3001, Pratt & Whitney Area, Oklahoma

After review of the project specific documents, if you are a Tinker AFB – MAC BOA Holder, please send an email to the Contracting Points of Contact as an RSVP stating you are interested in attending the Initial Site Visit. 

Your RSVP email must be received within 5 calendar days from the posting of this project.  In your RSVP, please let us know if all personnel that will be attending the Initial Site Visit have base access.  If anyone requires base access, you must forward with your RSVP the Entry Access List (EAL) so that we can know how many personnel require base access.   ***** ONLY MAC BOA Prime Contractors are to RSVP, Subcontractors are to inform at least one Prime Contractor of their intention to attend and if a Subcontractor requires base access, they must be sponsored by a Prime Contractor.

After receipt of your RSVP by May 21, 2026 COB CST and EAL if required, an Initial Site Visit is set for May 28, 2026 –– B3001. RSVP required for TIME of the inital site visit. A calendar invite will be sent out to those who RSVP.

You must attend the Initial Site Visit for the project to be considered eligible to propose.
