The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Midwest Healthcare Network (VISN 23), is seeking information from industry regarding a planned five-year IDIQ contract for surgical lights, booms, video integration systems, accessories, upgrades, and comprehensive support services across multiple VA medical centers. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Midwest Healthcare Network (VISN 23), Network Contract Office 23 (NCO 23) - Products and Equipment Requested: - Surgical lights for operating rooms and procedure rooms - Facility booms and service columns with options for medical gas outlets, electrical receptacles, nurse call buttons, and waste gas scavenging - Video integration systems capable of routing images and controlling medical devices, compatible with multiple video sources and workstations - Workstations with TPM chip, SSD, encryption, recommended RAM, Windows 11 OS, Intel i5 or greater CPU, and non-glare FHD displays - Services Requested: - Installation and de-installation of equipment, including site preparation, testing, activation, certification, and acceptance - Onsite clinical and technical training (minimum 40 hours per facility), super-user training, and provision of training materials - Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, remote and onsite technical support, software updates/upgrades, warranty services, and defined response times - Unique Requirements: - Equipment must be compatible with existing infrastructure and Federal EHR/VISTA systems - Training for both clinical and technical staff with minimum hours and personnel per site - Maintenance and support extend for one year after Go Live at each facility - Place of Performance: - Multiple VA medical centers across VISN 23, including Black Hills (SD), Central Iowa (IA), Fargo (ND), Iowa City (IA), Minneapolis (MN), Omaha (NE), St. Cloud (MN), and Sioux Falls (SD) - No specific OEMs, vendors, part numbers, or purchase quantities are named in the documents; market research is ongoing to identify capable suppliers.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to determine the commercial market’s ability to provide surgical lights, booms, video integration software, equipment, accessories and maintenance/repair services to Veterans Integrated Service Network 23 (VISN 23) hospitals and clinics and to better define the requirement. No contract awards will be made from this announcement as it is for market research purposes only. This RFI is and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to pay for information requested.
