USMC Littoral Craft Training Instructor Services Market Research

The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is conducting market research for contracted training support for littoral craft operations. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), 4th Marine Division, 4th Amphibian Assault Battalion, Littoral Craft Company (LCC) - Contracting office: MFR Regional Contracting Office, New Orleans, LA - Services Requested: - Two tactical small craft training instructors (one each at USMC Reserve Training Centers in Tampa, FL and Galveston, TX) - Instructors to provide classroom and underway training on MMRC-A and ELC tactical small craft - Training includes preventive/corrective maintenance, small boat familiarization, tactics, casualty control, and live-fire operations - Instructors will also serve as range safety officers, develop training materials, assess crew proficiency, and assist with training management and PPE acquisition - Instructors must have extensive small boat tactical experience, security clearances, and specific certifications - Travel required to additional locations: MCAS Cherry Point (NC), Stennis Space Center (MS), Fort Knox (KY), and others as needed - Products/Equipment: - Training is focused on MMRC-A and ELC small craft (no specific OEMs or part numbers provided) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Instructors must possess specialized experience and certifications in small boat tactics and operations - Support includes both classroom and live-fire/underway training environments - Period of Performance: - Base period of 12 months with four one-year option periods (up to 5 years total) - Place of Performance: - Primary: USMC Reserve Training Centers in Tampa, FL and Galveston, TX - Additional: MCAS Cherry Point (NC), Stennis Space Center (MS), Fort Knox (KY), and other locations as required
