The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Product Test Center Division, Mechanical Lab in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking to procure a new Circular Geometry Machine (CGM) Roundness Tester to replace an obsolete unit and improve measurement accuracy and efficiency. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Product Test Center Division, Mechanical Lab (VTM) - DLA Weapons Support Engineering & Technical Support Directorate - Products Requested: - One new Circular Geometry Machine (CGM) Roundness Tester - Must include motorized CNC drives for automatic centering and leveling - Capable of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing evaluations (circular run out, total run out, concentricity, roundness, cylindricity, diameter, radius) - Minimum column height: 500 mm - Work capability window: 200 mm diameter or larger - Accuracy: 0.0001 inch or better - Includes all cables, computers, monitors, stands, software, and stylus balls (1, 2, and 4 mm) - Generates interactive reports and automatic inspection routines - Must be new (not refurbished) - Services Requested: - Delivery, installation, setup, and calibration of the CGM - One day of training for up to five lab technicians/associates - Warranty of at least one year from installation - Unique Requirements: - Delivery required within 8-10 weeks from contract award - Training and calibration must be included in purchase price - Machine must enhance testing capacity and reduce human error - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Place of Performance and Delivery: - DLA Product Test Center Mechanical Lab, Building 9, Columbus, Ohio - Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), 300 North James Road, Bldg. 17-3, Columbus, OH 43213-1152

Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice, a solicitation will be posted at a later time.  This requirement is for one (1) new, not refurbished Circular Geomtry Machine (OGM) Roundness Tester to be provided to the DLA Product Test Center Mechanical Lab in Columbus, Ohio.  Scope of work includes the delivery, installation, and calibration of the machine, as well as providing a warranty of the machine and one day of training for up to five (5) associates.
