The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking installation of chemical feeder systems for residential well water treatment at its North View Drive housing units in Guilford, Connecticut. - Government Buyer: - United States Coast Guard, Base Boston - Contracting Officer Representative: Coyet A Carter - OEMs and Vendors: - Pulsa Feeder (Pulsatron 30 GPD chemical feed pumps) - Aquasential (carbon filtration systems with Cullar D+ media) - Products/Services Requested: - 9 Pulsa Feeder/Pulsatron 30 GPD chemical feed pump assemblies (including pump control modules, solution barrels, and associated equipment) - 9 Aquasential non-backwashing downflow carbon filtration systems (10 x 54 fiberglass tanks, 2.0 cubic feet Cullar D+ media, or approved equivalent) - Associated appurtenances: feed tubing, injection/check valves, fittings, isolation valves, sample taps, labels, supports, power/control connections, startup materials, and minor components - Installation services for all equipment, including field survey, integration with existing well and filtration systems, startup, calibration, labeling, spill control, cleanup, documentation, and warranty support - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Integration with existing well, pressure tank, filtration, and household water treatment components - Compliance with Connecticut and federal regulations for water treatment - Coordination with residents and the Contracting Officer Representative - Adherence to Service Contract Act (SCA) and Davis Bacon Act wage rates - Work to be performed during standard weekday hours at occupied housing units - Addressing nuisance taste and odor (rotten egg smell) in well water

Description

Provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, testing, startup, commissioning, cleanup, documentation, and warranty support necessary to furnish and install chemical feeder systems for residential private well water systems at the identified U.S. Coast Guard housing units on North View Drive in Guilford, Connecticut. The work is intended to treat existing well water conditions, including nuisance taste/odor concerns identified as a rotten egg smell, and to integrate new chemical injection equipment with the existing well, pressure tank, filtration, and household water treatment components as applicable at each occupied unit.

All wage and benefits are required to be in compliance with the SCA, Davis Bacon Act.

Wage Rates and benefits are required to be in accordance with the Up-to-date revision of the Wage Rate from DOL for the Place of Preformance and Period Of Preformance.
