United Independent School District (UISD) is soliciting proposals for Student Extra-Curricular Insurance coverage. The district requests duplication of existing coverage but will consider alternative plans if clearly identified as "Alternative Proposals." The insurance covers injuries sustained by students during school-sponsored extracurricular activities, including practices, competitions, and related events. The plan is secondary to any other insurance the student may have, and treatment must begin within 30 days of injury with claims filed within 90 days. The contract effective date is September 1, 2026.
